    Go Colts!

    GO COLTS!!!

If Peyton Manning is going to make it to the SuperBowl, I can think of no better team to go through than the New England Patriots.

Win or lose, this figures to be the most exciting sports event I've ever attended. An extremely generous co-worker (a PATS fan, nonetheless) offered to sell me his two tickets to the game at face value. After events transpired, I told him I'd understand if he wanted to sell them on eBay (where they are getting $600 a ticket), but he stood by his original offer, and NightTrain and I are going to the game!

Better yet, we're staying at the Westin, which is connected via a skybridge to the RCA Dome. So, after screaming our lungs out we should be able to just walk back to our room (hopefully to celebrate a trip to the SuperBowl!!!).

Now, I have to think of some really nice Patriots-related item to get for my friend to thank him for the opportunity to see destiny unfold...

The odds are in our favor. The Patriots have NEVER lost a conference championship game!

    Can you hear the music?

All New England came to Indy
    ....Just to ride the pony!
Stuck the score in their face,
    .....Watch it on your Sony!

    LET THE TRASH TALK BEGIN!!!!!!

Well, hopefully the Colts will learn a lesson from the Chargers and just bat down a 4th and 6 pass instead of intercepting it...

I can only hope the Patriots are as classy in defeat as they are in victory...

It appears the Colts are repeating a fatal error........

San Diego did not allow the sale of last Sundays game tickets to anyone outside of Southern California. One of the "small" things that made some of the Pats more than a little ticked off.

It is reported today that Indy is doing the same thing, trying to salt the crowd, as it were. They will see the error of their ways.Trying to deafen the opposing team will be a failed strategy and no measure of team playing with confidence. We will be just as satisfied at the shocked silence of the Colts fans as we were with the silence of the Charger fans.

    GO PATS!

Well, I'm keeping my mouth closed so I don't remove all doubt.

    Um... go Colts y'all.
At least the Pats won't have the snowplow guy to win the game for them in the Dome.;)

Remember the old Vikings under Bud Grant? Those were tough guys. Joe Kapp was always one of my favorite QBs. I remember once he had to scramble around the right side, a cornerback was just waiting for him, Joe saw him and lowered his head (all good QBs do that you know:bbg:) so did the DB, and delivered a mighty lick. Joe stumbled on a few yards and fell, the DB was out like a light! That was good ol' football!
And seeing Frank Gifford all laid out was neat too.

Well, as I recall the Colts have done okay on their last two trips up to Disposable Razor Stadium... All along, the Colts have complained about traveling to Gillette with its crappy environment (and the weather isn't very nice either). So, now its time to put up or shut up!

As for the snowplow guy, the Pats always catch some break or other to help them advance (whether its a snowblower, or a "double-clutch" ruling, or whatever). Hopefully, the Colts will simply rise above whatever quirky break the Pats catch on Sunday.

As for maintaining the home crowd advantage... well, that's why they call it a home field advantage! Don't worry, we'll provide a welcome atmosphere for your team and the homeless-looking guy that poses as your coach (best line I've heard is that he has an apparel contract with the Salvation Army :^).

PS- I guess we've sunken to smack talk, but that's okay I guess...

Tom Brady has 3 Superbowl rings! How many does PayTONS manning have!

    Oh yeah 0

Who cares where the Pats win the playoff games. Playoffs are a whole new season and the Pats I believe have a slightly better record than the Dolts!
