The best study materials(ssss), would start at:


Contact Lens Manual
A Comprehensive Study and Reference Guide Volume I

and the Advanced Contact Lens Manual

and the Test Review for Contact Lens Technicians.

You may purchase them at the Contact Lens Society of America (CLSA) at (703) 437-5100, or at the National Academy of Opticianry at 800-229-4828.

The CLSA also has a manual in module form that allows you to study in a different format, and is quite beneficial.

CLAO has a home study module that is also beneficial and a little pocket guide to contact lens dispensing that gives a lot of common sense information. I don't believe that you can get too much study material. It would also be to your advantage to read, and study the contact lens trade magazines that are available. Hopefully, you are receiving them at your office. Contact Lens Spectrum is a valuable magazine.
