Though I'm sure many of the NetHeads here are already familiar with Snopes.com, I'm amazed how many of my friends and aquaintances have never heard of it. I do believe I have now introduced most everyone who's sent me email over the past year to this fabulous site!

In today's net world of passing chain-type emails around, I find this an invaluable tool to determine what is a hoax and what is genuine. I suggest everyone bookmark this page:

... and whenever you receive a dubious request, 'Snopes-It'. Quite the awakening!
