For Sale: Fast Grind 2200 Surfacing System

Needing to sell a 1-year-old Fast Grind 2200 Surfacing System. The system itself is in excellent condition. Purchase would include all equipment, software, hardware, and supplies. It would also include approximately $1500 worth of semi-finished lens blanks (FT-28 and progressives) from Super Systems. Selling price is $20,000.

I would like to buy one machine. But I would like to know, "What is Preblocked"? Why should I have to buy Pre Blocked lens from the
Super System?

The fastgrind system requires the preblocked lens blanks supplied by Super Systems. These blanks can be supplied in a wide variety of designs; progressives, FT-28, FT-35, trifocals, photochromics, etc. Depending on what kinds of lenses you utilize the most, you can inventory those designs in the various base curves so you have them readily on hand.

Dr. K perhaps an exam is in order? While it is possible that the op hasn't sold his fast grind from 5 years ago, its unlikely. Welcome to the board hope you don't mind a little good natured ribbing.
