I need to dispose of a couple of hundred uncut lenses.
Mostly CR-39...some glass
Should I try to sell?
Donate to a charitable organization?
Do you know of any group that could use them?
Thank-you
Giorgio

Is there perhaps a small opticianry school near you? These would be great for practice edging. Also good for art classes. Art teachers are very creative. My daughter was the craft director of our local campground during summer vacations while in high school. She had the kids put pictures behind the lenses and make ornaments. I liked the fish bowl one the best.
Try to contact VOSH. The company i work for donated lenses and frames to them a couple of years ago. The recipents were grateful and its good charma.
I know this non-profit organization ArborFree Clinic (run by Stanford University Medical School) who offer free eyeglasses for the needy people. They definitely can use some free lenses. I have some contact with the doctor there. You can find a link to them thru my home page (click on "Vision Insurance" link then browse to the bottom of the page). If you are not able to reach them, contact me.
