Thanks, Harry for giving me something to go on. Have a great day!:)
I have seen them sell for at the most 20.00 dollars.
$30.00, Give me $30, and I'll take it.
Money carefully refunded
The Grolman is a nifty little device, but a little cumbersome for practical use. Plus, you can definitely tell it was made a couple of decades ago. Kind of like sitting in those offices with the lime green and orange paint. Consequently, it is probably best categorized as a collector's item suitable for collectors of optical nostalgia. Unfortunately, there are several out there -- and not too many collectors of optical nostalgia. This makes the supply a little greater than the demand, and detracts from its value. Also, it isn't made from any precious materials, such as gold (like older spectacle frames), and isn't really old enough yet to really be considered an antique. For that matter, I don't know that anything made in the 70s and 80s will ever be considered antiques! To sum all this up, you might get $20-$40 for one right now if you found an interested buyer, particularly if it's in good condition and has its original case. In the future you may get more as they become more rare. You might still get a bit from even semi-interested buyers who don't want to pass up a great deal on a veritable piece of optical heritage.
Best regards,
Darryl
I wouldn't mind adding another one to my collection. Is it still in the case?
Let me know how much you want for it.
