Where to buy the cheapest Errors&Ommisions

It's that time of year again...Dues are due at the end of this month. In Alberta, our association is not offering the E&O insurance. We used to get it reasonably through the Canadian Opticians Association, but if I have to buy memberships for me and my staff and then buy E&O, it just means the cost just went up,up up. Anyone have ideas??

Suggestions? With all due respect, Mike, insurance can't be the only reason you would support the OAC. Pay up, and let them continue the great job they do for opticians in this country. I'm sad to hear you think of your membership as just a higher insurance bill.

    Dave,
I know, I know.....but as an independent, by knee jerk,I always look at all my options before doing anything...I pick up the tab for myself and my staff for annual licenses and associated costs like e&o. It is a very expensive annual cost.Last year we were able to get our E & O through our local association. Now I have to buy additional memberships in order to get the insurance. It all costs money.
Ahhh if money were no object...
