How many are using each Style Set?

Here's an interesting bit of info on what style sets OptiBoarders are using. It appears that most haven't even changed it from the 'Default' (currently set to 'New Blue'.)

    Six people are using Maria's Lilac ! ? !? ! :drop:

That's more people than are using Tika Red ! ! !

Disclaimer: Maria's Lilac is a wonderful color scheme even though I currently use New Blue and was a Teal person for a little bit. Obviously, my color choices are based on my own inability to appreciate the complexity and artistic grace that is "Maria's Lilac." In fact, I strongly recommend that Pete should try using Maria's Lilac for awhile, especially before August.

I tempted to change the default Style on a regular basis just to confuse the heck out of people!

Can you imagine the howls of protest when people start accessing the Board and are assaulted with Maria's Lilac!

You know, I just tried Maria's Lilac again for a little bit and it wasn't quite as shocking as the first time. You must get desensitized after awhile.

The Board's so bright I think I'll were shades.

    First, Last, and Always!

I freely admit that I have been using Maria's Lilac ever since it was available.Jo hit the nail on the head. Its kind of like Maria.....shocking at first...but becomes very pleasing quickly.

Last week I tried out my sister in law's new computer at her house.I went immediately to the board to see what was up over the weekend. When I arrived at the site, the colour was default blue....not unatractive but....somehow it was not the same. I then logged in......and magically the colour changed into Maria's lilac!
I wish words could convey the warm fuzzy feeling that swept over me......Like coming home after a long time away....It was wonderful! If you all switch to Maria's Lilac for just a week, you too can experience what I felt.Everyone should do it!:bbg: :bbg:

Well Hc you can keep the Maria Lilac for me... Just the thought of them colours (note proper spelling) sends my guts up to my mouth. Give me the cool blue any day :D
But hey if we all liked the same would'nt this world be boring as hell........
Interesting to note that 2 use new blue even though its the default :hammer:

Go for it Steve change the default...........

    Thanks for the reminder John!

Thanks for the reminder John! I had completely forgotten that you, Maria, and Sir Pete might read that post. I have since gone back and edited my poor form.I'll try not to let that happen again.

    About Maria's Lilac

I have no intentions of changing from default style sheet. All this time I have had these wonderful fantasies about Maria. I want nothing to interfere with those fantasies. I am a happy person imagining what Maria is like.

If it turns out Maria is anything like the lady on Missing Link, I'm going to have a difficult time (notice I used the word difficult instead of h - - d time!) carrying on.

Some things are better left alone.

    Maria, wherever you are . . . .
I adore your personality and wit.

Exclamation You're right about Maria's lilac!

I just tried all the colours and I must admit I prefer the default new blue. The most alarming was the lilac, it hurt my eyes!

Maybe I will try it again later as suggested.

I've only just found this thread!

Only six people using lilac! That's appalling. We must set up a task force to rectify this :)

I really like it, and not just because of the name. It seems to be a love it or hate it colour, though.

I tried different styles kind of like the Arizona Style. But I keep on default to see the new styles that Steve comes up with.

I just love the new Arizona Desert Sky. It makes me feel good inside. Maybe the warm thing.

    We're Gaining!!

Ney, glad you picked up on this thread.I am contacting you in this post to make a pitch for Maria's Lilac.Think Spring! Try Maria's lilac for just 30 days....watch all the nice things that happen to you in that time!:) Its the colour that does it! The others are very nice but Lilac rewards the viewer. As proof of this I offer the percentile growth of this colour's popularity.Since this thread began Maria's lilac has grown by 30% and is well ahead of all but the "cold and lifeless Blues"
    Give Lilac a try.....you won't be disappointed!

    Sorry Harry,

I gave Lilac a try this morning, and it actually hurt my eyes. You know, I have actually done some research during the last couple of years on colors, and have found that people actually see better through their own color key. I know some of you think I'm way out here, but it's a fact. :hammer: Given the right time and place, I would like for any of you to see how this works. I'm at enough conventions that some of you should be able to see it. Let me know and I will bring my lenses.

Now I understand. That's why only 16 people have responded to Poll: OptiBoard Apparel, the 9 people using Maria's Lilac and the default people who were switched into it automatically for awhile all think that those will be the shirt and logo colors. They are afraid. Either that or Maria's Lilac made them feel so dizzy they can't find the right keys on their keyboards in order to post a reply.

    ;)
