Sick of Job

Frankly, I cannot see myself in optical retail over the long haul. I am certain that I can get more satisfaction out of designing and creating new frames.

I probably see myself going back to school in another 3 years time but not now. I'm still interested in learning and dealing with frame materials. Can someone recommend a good undergraduate guide to material engineering or anyone who has been down this path could give me some much needed advice?
