    Instrument Paper

Where do you get your paper for diagnostic instruments?

I guess more importantly is I need to find paper for a Mackay-Marg Tonometer Model 12 and I can't find any that have the grid on it that my doctor desires. Amcon (our previous supplier though he hasn't bought paper in a couple of years) has paper that is the right size, but doesn't have the grid on it. I checked Bernell, Vicon, Hilco, and Wilson with no luck..

I do realize that this is an older model tonometer..but it works well, and he loves the accuracy of it.

I thought that only vets (the animal docs, not old OD's) used this still....

    Might be why...

That might be why when I do a search for it, I get vet papers or I get the initial research on the development of applination tonometry...

He *really* loves this thing and has defended its use over non contact types many times. The tonopen isn't as accurate, and he likes the graph print out to have in patient files....And he is also frugal...

    Suggestions?

I too was surprised to hear that somebody still uses the MacKay Marg tonometer...It is however the same technology as the "renowned" Tonopen...so don't make fun. Don't know where to get the paper. Sorry. Did you try googling it?
