Confused I need advice on economic practice management software:ifile, my vision express etc

I've contacted ifile, and it takes them forever just to get back to me (a potential customer) I'm worried that if I did go with this system I would be left to fend for myself. I'm starting cold so I want to go as paperless as possible on a small budget. Any info pro/con on the more economical programs would be appreciated.

With Microsoft Office Small Business Edition, Microsoft Small Business Accounting and a little talent you can manage your empire for about $500.00.

    Another MY Vision Express User

We are in the process of converting 5 offices over to MVE, and so far, all things considered, it has been surprisingly smooth. There is a wide range of computer abilities (and non-abilities) to factor in, so I wasn't expecting miracles. I'll be doing a full review when complete.

Practice software is so much more than just accounting. Even with good acounting software, you still end up lacking on the patient side of things.

Not if you are familiar with Microsoft Office. You are free to design and build just the desktop applications that you need and you don't have to worry about your software vendor going West.

    Redhot Jumper Any alternative

I would suggest Crystal Practice Management. It is the affordable solution for the paperless office.http://www.crystalpm.com

    Dear ksulfan,

Are any of the vendors you are evaluating have more than 500 users? How long have they been in business? How many programmers on staff?
