First off is you buy a used santinelli they will not give you tech support unless they certify it.
When I try to trace a frame it will not do it. I can trace a pattern. I have a calibration kit but no instrustions.
So there you go, I need help.

First try tracing the calibration pattern and see if it within +/-0.05 (press frame trace button for both eyes, after finished data set then menu button twice) If it falls out of these parameters, hit menu again to get to program screen than push R than L than release R than release L and trace both sides of calibration pattern and see if again numbers fall into +/-.05.
As far as not being able to trace a frame and only patterns, that sounds like a job for a cert tech.
Thanks Pauly
Well I figured out the problem. The stylis would not pop up so I removed the tracer from the edger took the botom cover off and two circut boards out. Turns out that the servo that raises and lowers the stylis had a broken wire. After solder all is well. At least I know how to use the
calibration plate now. Thanks.
