    Xray Protection

I had a girl today that need XRAY protection in her Rx glasses! She is always in the Xray room!
I found some glasses and gogles online with Glass lenseswith lead. The only think I ever heard is hilite glass that has lead in it!
    Small problem !
The girl wants semi-rimless lenses. What kind of lenses I should order?
    Thanks
    Lenny

Call Xcell. I think they sell xray lenses. You can groove glass lenses.

    Xcel Finished or semifinished?
Unfortunately grooving glass lenses was before my time. Also Silhouette SPX will be out of the question!

Semifinished. It is glass. Let the lab do it. How many times a year you gonna do this. I've been in wholesale for 33 years and done maybe 2.

In the 50's and 60's during the last big wave of rimless glasses there were millions of lenses grooved, It works the exact same way, but you will need a diamond wheel to do the groove.
