We've never lost a single one in twenty years. No deposit, no credit card. But it's a fairly small city...around 130,000 people.

I tell people that I have a vested interest in their looking good. If I let them walk out in an unattractive pair, people will ask where they got their glasses, and won't come here to buy.
I always let them leave, and bring in a "fashion consultant" - usually they're dilated, and "can't see a thing". What ticks me off, though, is that invariably, the two (or three) of them pick a frame, then turn to me and ask "what do you think?" HELLLLLO!!!! If you cared what I think, why did you bring in somebody else for an opinion?
...Just ask me...
I like to take people out of the comfort zone a bit but there is always an 'ol reliable sitting next to the more whatever the new frame is. I say bold vs clasic or something like that. We pick out frame options as well as lens options. Helps with the multiple pairs too.
Just restyled though cuz family didn't think new frame was dramatic enough, pt had a dramatic frame when she came in and was "tired of my frame getting all the atention". Doesn't happen often, once a year so far. (knocking on wood)
