    prism/bifocals

Ok I haven't done one like this in a while

    rx is -0.25+0.25x175
    -0.25
add +2.00 ou 0.75 bi per eye only
Note from Dr. "in bifocal only by decentration" So what do I do? I know to use a lined bifocal 35/45(dr will only allow this any way)but just quick reminder how to go about this.

I would just decenter the segs an addtional 4mm- per eye. Use the ft45 or ft35 either one will be fine.

The seg power in the 180= 1.75
    (10*.75)/1.75 =4.28 That's how.
10 times the prisim divided by the power equals the decentration.

Don't forget that the decentration is in addition to the inset. Jim got it right on the money, I couldn't have said it better.
