Briot 6000

I have the Briot machine but the led display on the tracer has become a mass of horizontal lines.What do I need to do?Is a replacement expensive?

I expect a replacement tracer or screen would be extortionate, I would be tempted to buy something like the above and have a spare machine.

The replacement screen would have to be calibrated to the blocking device. To find someone that is able to do that is going to be almost impossible.
I would either keep using the edger or upgrade to a new edger where the parts are still made for it and the service tech are still being trained on the edger. I would advise not spending money on an edger were if a computer board goes tomrow the equipment would become a boat anchor.

Accura B&W can be found cheaply and they still have majority of the parts still made for the edger and the new service techs are trained on them. An Accura CX would be preferred because all of the components to the parts are still manufactured and it will cut and groove smaller.
