    Problem in dispensing PROGRESSIVE lenses

    Hello everybody,

I am an optician in India and these days I find problem while dispensing progressive lenses.

I ordered Normal Corridor progressive for a customer with a bigger frame size and when I fitted the lenses in the frame it just not suits the customer.

I advised patient to try wearing for long hours but still the patient says he has a problem in seeing at distance and while reading as well.

    Any suggestions ????

I wonder if some one from India will be confused by what U said. U should probly not do that.

There is no such word as "len". Or "U", for that matter.

I have a patient having problems with his noline. Measurements are good, I've verified them. He has blurry vision straight in front of his left eye (right is o.k.), if he looks about 5mm to the temporal side his vision improves. Any ideas??
    Thanks

Make a new lens. This should solve the problem. There is probably some type of defect in one of the surfaces.

    Sounds like a PD problem
Also, I've been checking the prism on my progs lately, and I've found some that had imbalance. (I've been using the Physio, so I don't know that it would help you any).
