Schwing, Robert, Don S, Mary, OAC brass

Temperature here in BC has finally risen above freezing, so we're getting ready for our week of summer. Actually hit a dry patch in my snowmobile yesterday. If anyone from Ontario or the Maritimes wants to drop by for the weekend, bring a case of beer, and we'll bet on when the ice will break up on the Fraser. Come a bit early, cause they're fixing a pothole on the trans Canada Hwy.

Actually, it hit 43 in Lytton the other day, about 50 miles from here. Thats 110 farenheit for the non-metric crowd. Ran into a group of Florida tourists at a lake last weekend, and they were joking about going home to cool off. Bring the beer anyway, and lots of ice.:D (Also, can't forget to invite the 2 Maureens who will be the life of the party, one from Alberta, one from Ontario.

My sister-in-law lives in Trail where it was around 40 the other day. Edmonton has been above 33 for 3 straight days. Now, I realize that doesn't seem hot, but it is teh second longest streak of days above 30 ever, and the 34 Celcius we hit Monday was the second highest temp for Edmonton- Ever...

But it shure beats the sh*t out of minus 20...

Wow, that's almost tropical to you guys, huh?

I always feel mighty sorry for you prairie folk in the winter. Rather like the pity the prairie folk have for us WetCoasters with our four straight seasons of liquid sunshine. However, one has never had frostbite from being wet but warm, eh?
