Has anyone had success fitting an RGP Multifocal? I have an engineer who wants to try them and he wants to see crisp.

I have done quite a few RGP multifocals. An engineer who has stated he would like to see "crisp" is likely in for a letdown if his add is any higher than a 150 or so. You may have some success with "translating' multifocal RGPs but tuning them to near perfect translation is tedious and often close to impossible. In short, low add, try simultaneous lens designs like "essentials." for higher adds, you may have to explain the realistic outcome of the fitting, and the time you would need to perform such a fitting. (hopefully you will be paid for your chairtime like any other professional.) Good luck.
