Which of the four major mount types is the most durable for the glasses as a whole and for lens (in terms of cracking)?
Thanks.

When are you people going to understand, admit and accept the fact that ir is NOT the frame or mount types that make lenses crack.
Rimless frames are the most delicate in glasses and habe to be treated as such by the people wearing them.
Lenses have to be mounted by people that known what they are doing and you will have no problem with any of them.
There used to millions of poeple wearing rimless glasses 40 to 80 years ago that were all mounted in glass lenses with less problems than there seems to be these days with all the new unbreakable lens materials.
