    Redhot Jumper

We have an 8x11" blue booklet in our store printed in '93, titled "Troubleshooting Progressive Lenses", by Optical Laboratories Association. It has several pages of logo/markings identifier pictures to figure out what lens design a new patient has been wearing....does anyone have a source for an updated version of this booklet featuring the newer lenses? (At the back of the booklet are pages for dealing with specific fitting problems...we have used it for a training supplement.) I really need a more recent version. Can anyone help with a source/address?

    Hiya Jenny,

Not meaning to simply state the obvious...but have you tried the OLA again? I have the new PAL Identifier that is put out by the OLA, and I got it through Benedict Optical...it's about 5 bucks I think.

Thanks, Chad...yes, that was obvious...I've tried an internet search for OLA, (various spellings, etc) but am not having much luck. I really would appreciate an address or phone # for OLA.
(I just got "bugged" thinking that I wanted a more recent issue/copy than '93, and would prefer not to go begging to my chain's regional staff.)

Tried that link Jeff-o-Rama...and it doesn't work ;-)

    I used just the http://www.ola-labs.org
And then went to "products" and found the PAL identifier. (also found out that my "new" one...isn't ;) )

Chad............Thanks for making it easy. The one we use is about 5 or so years old. It is amazing how quickly time goes by before we realize just how outdated our dispensary "tools" can become.
