I received my Juliet X-Metal / Ruby Iridiums yesterday from UPS.. Naturally I was very excited to finally have the glasses that took 2 weeks to ship to me, so I promptly opened the box, and made my way to the actual sunglasses. I take them out.. and look them over, and wouldn't you know it.. there's some sort of scratch etched into the front of the Nose guard...almost looks like a fancy 2 or 8. It's very faint, but I can see it up close, and I know it's there (knowing it's there is the problem, not necessarily being able to see it from 6 inches away). After all, 425 dollars for a pair of sunglasses, you would expect perfection, correct? So I call Oakley and set up a Return / Exchange... they give me a Return Authorization Number, and say they'll ship them out 2 day Air to expediate the process...Not 10 seconds after the rep. says this, he goes silent, comes back and says "actually, im sorry sir it seems these glasses are backordered again"... I say okay, well how long... he said July 25th, the earliest...but most likely early August. So now I've sent my sunglasses back, and wont receive any for 2.5-4 weeks. What do they make like 10 pair of these, at 425 a pop, how many people could possibly want them. They have the X-Metal / Black Iridium in stock, but wont do a frame replacement on these...I'll try to add some pictures to show you all what the problem is with my frame.
