Well, being a woman, it's hard to judge, but I think Catherine Zeta Jones and Kiera Knightly (sp?) are "hot". (My husband likes the black actress who was in Monster's Ball, can't remember her name).

Liz Hurley, Although she is better at being hot than acting.

    Today: Caterine Zeta Jones

Yesterday: Bridget Bardo, the sexiest woman of all time.

    Many years ago: Clara Bow.

    Chip:cheers:

Suppose I shouldn't let Sandra Bullock go unrecognised.

I believe the actress in Monster's Ball was Halle Berry (think she won an Oscar for that movie- never saw it myself). She was a Bond girl with Pierce Brosnan as well...

The problem with picking a "hottest actress" is the different "looks" the same actress may have in different pics. For example, Zeta-Jones was quite hot in Zorro, but only rises to "hotness" again in Ocean's Twelve (IMHO).

Elizabeth Shue is completely hot in The Saint... Uma Thurman is completely hot in Gattaca, but she can also look quite awful in other movies... Jody Foster is hot in just about everything (except Contact). Thandie Newton was hot in MI2, but I've never seen her in anything else. I suppose I've never seen an Elizabeth Hurley movie where she looked anything less than an 8... Also, the woman who played Dennis' mother in Dennis the Mennace (the one with Walter Matthaeu- sp?), well let's just say Mr. Mitchell is a lucky man!

Now that I've completely objectified women actresses, I would note that Sigourney Weaver is hot in an intellectual sort of way (which is also why I liked Shue in The Saint, cause any woman that could invent cold fusion has got to be the hottest of them all)!

Nicole Kidman, Agelina Jolie, Audrey Tautou, Ziyi Zhang and Audrey Hepburn. Oh, and Michele Pfeiffer.

And I agree with Chris that Bridget Bardo is timeless in her beauty.

Charlize Theron and Ashley Judd ... not only because they're beautiful, but they can also act.
