TOPS Convention and Tradeshow

The Texas Ophthalmic Professionals Society will hold their annual convention and tradeshow May 11-13th. The location will be Arlington (between Dallas and FortWorth).

Yep! I know it's Mother's Day weekend, but D/FW is a great little spot to take Mom for a weekend getaway. I'll be there with my brand new little one (due at Easter).

I will post more info next week.

Can only attend part of the meeting, My daughter and her roomate are having a graduation reception in Denton Saturday evening, so I won't get to go to the dinner. Carol, It was good to be able to get away Friday afternoon and Sat. morning to catch a couple CEC hours and the trade show. Congrats on your election as Tops president for 2001, will look forward to the meeting in Houston next year. Looks like you'll have a great board to work with. Will be glad to be of any help I can. If possible I would like a membership list. Talked with Bob Franz and we would like to get our North Texas chapter more active. What a cute baby! It was so good to see Diane there trying to educate Texans! That's a real challenge. Good to visit with some "old" friends. Best wishes. Al.

Al, It was great seeing you also. I got home and went to sleep.

Carol's baby is not only adorable, she is perfect as well. As young as she is, one month, she observes everything, and is as good as gold. I believe that she is going to be brilliant, (like her mother, of course).

I found out something about the folks in Texas. They actually like one another. That's a great thing. They are a great bunch.
