If anybody out there is attending the OAA Leadership Conference in Savannah, GA this weekend, the Weather Channel site shows scattered showers and temps in the high 50's to low 30's. Now I know what to pack! See you there!

Hey Homer.............nice to have met you as well. We are going to bring up the Saturday morning at our next BOD meeting in two weeks. Can you e-mail me as to the stuff you are referring to? Makes me feel a bit clueless as well. I hope the next Leadership Conference will be in Virginia.

Yah, you have my vote, I've not been there before. I'ma guessin' ya'll hafta lurn a little new speak when you get there.
Kansas City or Denver could also be on the list for the future.

Anyway, we spend so much time inside at these thing, it doesn't matter too much to me. For me the point is the friendships that develop.

Hi, guys! Sorry for the infrequent and uneven responses. My hard drive crashed about 2 weeks ago and it's taken me a while to get things straightened out. But here goes...To date, nothing more has been said about the very animated discussions at Leadership on Saturday morning. Since I have begun receiving information about the upcoming National Convention in Anaheim, I'm guessing that things are back to normal, what ever that is at this point. On the whole, Leadership was great again this year. It's always good to catch up with old friends, make some new ones and discover just how much we have in common from state to state.
My heartfelt thanks to the Opticians Association of Georgia and to SOLA for their support of this very important annual event. We haven't determined the site for next years meeting, but Virginia sounds great to me!
See you all in Anaheim in June!
