Books critical to start an optical library

Could you guys give me a list of books that would benefit me in terms of getting into the real technical side of opthalmic optics. I want to learn as much as I can, especially the lab side of it. And if possible, would you guys be able to refer me to a place or resource where I can source out and purchase these books. All of your input would be greatly appreciated.
