The assembly date of the lens fabrication units is 12/92.
    Hope this helps!
    Thank you for your inquiry.

51 pallets!! The lens stock is probably glass. I used to buy alot of govt. surplus years ago from Mechanicsburg. Once got a 40 ft truck full of semi-finished glass bifocals. Also still have 68,000 military frame fronts (down from 120,000). Anyone have temples!! I could tell you surplus stories you would'nt believe. Good luck bidding just inspect it first.

    Walleye,

You should only have about 67, 998 frame fronts. Remember, you sent me 2.:shiner:

I have purchase over 50 lots in the last 4 years. You can get some great deals, but be prepared to take a (major) hit in some instances. Get to know the rating systems. A $500 deal may take $2,000 to make it servicable.

Also, make sure you have p/u agents in place prior to bidding. If you can't pick up in allotted times, you lose.

Make sure to take ALL fees into consideration before bidding.

    Unhappy be careful

    Hi,

I heard a lot of those items are not thoroughly inspected so even their ratings is half accurate. Be careful because you buy it as is without any returns!

Ratings? How about the descriptions ? I bought a "phoroptor" that turned out to be a complete lane. On the other hand, I bought a "lensometer" that turned out to be 2 radiuscopes that they were parting out. Many times, they are miscategorized, or the person listing it does not work in that department, and has no clue what they are listing.
