This is a question (or at least my thoughts on same) reguarding prism.
As visual preception is the driving force for the hand and other body parts. Could not the prism in spectacles (whether yoked, inherent, put in for the purpose of edge thinning, or whatever) cause the wearer to precieve things to be in postions other than thier real location? While this might not be important in many tasks no matter how slight, might it not cause one to reach for or place things in a sightly different location? Things that might be affected that come to mind are: Placing individual fiber strands in place as I do in making artificial eyes. Target shooting, micro-manipulation, throwing a baseball, etc. I'll admit that eventially one might or might not develop brain compensation for such things, but is it not food for thought?
Now I hope to hear some comment from the many optiboarders who are much smarter than I.
