Hello
I have been having episodes of transient vertical diplopia. Until the last episode they had all been the same except for durations ranging from 30 seconds to up to 5 minutes. There doesnt seem to be any situational pattern ie.,once while outside at night, once while wallpapering, once while working at a computer etc. However the last episode was some what different. I was working between writing at a desk and looking at a computer at arms length away. Due to the position I was sitting I looked at the screen with my head tilted to the left. Once the episode started what I saw in my right eye alone was lower than what I saw in the left as usual, but the image was tilted the same way my head was. As I tilted my head backwards the images would align but then if I closed/opened left eye then right the doble vision came back
I have seen a neurologist and had MRI, ECS, Blood work etc. All came back normal except for a B12 level on the lower end of the acceptable range. The neurologist was unable to DX and sent me to an opthamologist (Not nuero opthmologist), highly reccomended as having vast experince with alignment issues. He did exam including prisms and was unable to DX. I will be going back next week for a followup. The last episode was since the last opthamologist visit.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be going on or questions to as the opthamologist?
Thank you for your time!
Steve
