    Hi y'all,

After a nice, somewhat unplanned trip to Pennsylvania to pick up some office stuff (and attend my dad's retirement party), its nice to be "home" (in the with-my-wife-and-kids sense and in the back-to-OptiBoard sense ;) ).

Mother Nature was even nice enough to supply 5" of snow on Monday while I visited. Unfortunately, GM proved the inferiority of their products once again. My fuel pump shorted out just 90 miles from home (and after only 120,000 miles, jeeesh- I'm shopping for a FORD next time).

Anyway, the point is, I wanted to encourage anyone facing a long car trip in their near future to consider renting or buying books on CD... I listened to Grisham's Runaway Jury on the way up and The Partner on the way home- in addition to the book A Walk in the Woods. Good stuff, and it makes the trip fly by (except for the part where you're watching your truck being loaded onto a wrecker in Albany, GA by someone who must either be named Zeke or has a close relative by that name...) .

    Pete

    Thumbs up

Regarding THE RUNAWAY JURY...it's the best of the 3 Grishom books I have read. Regarding A WALK IN THE WOODS, well, lets just say, I laughed so hard I cried...it took me 10 minutes to read one paragraph! The next day I was still laughing. I actually wrote to the author and he wrote back! Some day, i WILL walk the trail...anybody out there ever been?

    Night "still laughing" Train :D
