this maybe AO PRO corridor is longer than the Panamic corridor, so maybe your patient use the intermediate to reading

    Panamic vs AO Pro

    Dear Cnet_baby

    1. Panamic is good for the new wearer ?

    2. Panamic is not recommended for the wearer who get used to harder design PALs.

    3. Panamic is good for plus power , but for minus power it still can not proof any better than Varilux Comfort.

    4. Do not use Panamic in the patient who have VA lower than 20/20 , because Panamic have very poor quality of vision.

    5. The peripheral of Panamic is more blur at night.

    6. From 1 to 5 , I get from my experience of fitting Panamic for more than 2,000 pairs by myself from 2000 to 2004 and I dare to say " I am the one who realy know about Panamic , even better than product manager of Essilor. "

    7. Please , going for Varilux Comfort or Nikon Presio in this case.:D

I am so sorry to say the truth and hope one day Essilor will forgive me. Panamic is good PALs for 2000 , but not for today and Varilux Comfort still much better choice than Panamic in many case , even for the same price.

Because Add change from 2.50 to 3.00
When addition increase ... the visual field will narrow.

    Harder design

I agree with Freedom that , at ADD 3.00D need harder design.
