I am finally back on the board. I must add I am going through serious withdraw so I will need lots of support!! Thanks Steve for getting me back on. This was the worst few days of my life. I guess my 12 step optiboard recovery did not work as well as I had originally thought.
    Glad to be back on!!

Welcome back Stephanie! While I was at the beach, I had a few nervous twitches (from OptiBoard Seperation Anxiety) myself!

My solution is to have a USB port surgically installed behind my left ear. That way, I can plug in and get constant OptiBoard streaming at all times (except in the shower, of course ;) )!

Pete, I think what you were trying to say, is

Welcome to the ministry of funny walks :D

we are simply programmed (and so on and so on... I could go on, but I'm not really that good at writing wacky stuff- like Darris ;) ).
You can say that again :D

Guess this election is starting to make me wacky.

This looks like a job for Captain D,

Actually Pete, I read a book some time ago called "Our Holographic Universe" A very bizarre book in itself but an interesting concept. The premise, not unlike that of "The Matrix," is that what we see is only electrical impulses deciphered by our brain to generate the images we see. It goes on to say that we may actually look somewhat different to each person that sees us based on their minds interpretation of the information.

Our bodies being large storage batteries are individual cells contained in a particular pattern by our bodies electromagnetic field. Therefore our genetic structure is no more than a series of electrical impulses. These impulses make up what we look like, what color our skin is, hair color, straight or crooked teeth, etc. The interesting thing about this hypothesis was that cloning was said to be very possible once you found the propper impulses for duplication not unlike deciphering radio waves and so forth. Kind of scary isn't it?

Think of it this way, if this hypothesis were true you could change your appearance any time you wanted to. Change the impulse code and you change what you look like. Since it is all controlled by the brain the possibilities are endless. Think about it.

Perhaps I truly am the Master of All I Survey and you are all my experiments. Only I know the codes and only I can solve the mystery, but I ain't sayin'. You all just remember to sleep well tonight ;-) Knowing what I know could drive any mortal insane. Anyone care to join me in the darkest depths of my mind?

Talk to you all later. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahaha.....;-)

PS. Is that wacky enough? :-)

Pete, I know exactly what you mean. It seems funny that this is so important, but even when my husband and I went on vacation the entire time I kept thinking "wonder what they are talking about on the optiboard". God I am on vacation contemplating borrowing someone's computer. That was a terrible few days I must say. I hope it never happens again. Being able to read and keep up but not post. It's like being able to hear and see without being able to talk. I have to add my two cents worth or it just isn't any fun!!!
    Have a great day!!
