I like the idea of throwing the broken bat at the baserunner. Kinda like baseball by Vince McMahon.

Quite frankley, I just wish all New Yorkers whould just DIE !!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, a bit extreme! How about just mamed a little?

I don't believe he was aiming for Piazza, but Clemens has been ejected from a playoff game before (arguing with an ump when he was with the BoSox). He should have probably been ejected in the first inning last night after that bonehead move- I don't believe he was even issued a warning. I put it up to a lack of mental prowess (get with it, Roger). I was soooo hoping Mike would go park on him (course that's hard to do when the pitches are coming in eye level an in ;) ).

I admired Piazza before (I used to be a catcher myself, got the bum knee to prove it ;) ), but I downright respect him now. He could have charged the mound and no one would have said a word against him. As he proved in the ninth inning, however, he's more valuable to his team on the field.

Clemens has zero class (anyone who can play for the Yanks after playing for the Red Sox has to have no soul). Though not a particular fan of either team, I'm pulling for the Mets (I'm really a Reds fan, so I'll go with the NL team). I guess that explains why they're down 0-2.

As for New Yorkers... hey, if I had to live in New York I'd be crazy too! Not to pull a John Rocker, but that's one messed up city. The three days I'm there each year (Vision Expo) give me all the "Big Apple" I can stand (although catching a show on Broadway can't be beat)!

Ok, you can sit all fat and happy up there in "Fredneck" and make jokes about us. How would you like it if I stated making jokes about how people are moving from Frederick to Hagerstown thinking it's a step "up"....

    Besides, Steinbrenner owns Tampa anyway.
