Okay, it never ceases to amaze me how inappropriately fitted the models are in a lot of the eyewear publications we receive. However, this month's edition of 20/20 has to take the cake!
The main headline on the cover proclaims "Plastic Works." It should read "Plastic Works- just not on her! Good gracious, that poor young lady needs a different makeover and some petite wire frames- not those gawd awful chunks of zyl she's wearing!
We dispense lots of zyl frames in our dispensary (especially Nine West), but sometimes I think the magazines go a little to the extreme. Anyway, I thought it was just me being "conservative" (as I'm apt to be, you know), but then I saw the Optical staff had cut off the cover and put it in their break room as an example of how NOT to fit eyewear...
Pete "How about a 'titanium works' layout?" Hanlin
PS- Silhouette Titans have to be the niftiest line I've ever dispensed!
