sounds too good to be true
There is actually some truth in that article.Originally Posted by spartus's link

Funny how Liberals always get shots thrown at them and blamed for everything.
Hmm, Canada is a much more liberal nation, where all nationalities and religions are much more tolerated. Yet, there has been no backlash here against the whole celebration of XMas subject.
Interesting...
I caught a bit of Jon Stewart the other night; it was just a matter of time before his gang ripped into the ersatz "War on Christmas" that Fox "News" et al have been promoting. Well it was pretty funny, really shooting fish in a barrel though.
I really laughed at one particular thing: O'Reilly has been reporting on these cariature-like Christmas killers--this town council doing this, this store doing the other thing. Well turns out a lot of the stuff he reports is, er, well, not true. Specifically he was on a tear about the Plano TX school district forbidding kids from wearing red and green to school (editorial comment: would not any moron know this is made up?). He did later fess up that it was not true, but here's the part that cracked me up: "Well I live in New York, I don't know what they're doing in Plano."
Hey remind me not to listen to his "reporting" on Iraq, that's really far from New York!!!
