Where do you get your OPTICAL news ?

Just wondering what publications, journals, e-lists you get your news from ... or how do you stay current within the industry ??

Subsrcibe to get press releases from GOOGLE, Yahoo and other search engine publications and give as subject of interest the "optical industry news", They will send all news as soon as they detect something. You will be informed faster than the optical magazines.

Go on search engines and ask for optical press releases and you get everything the optical magazines get. Takes a little time to get it, but is not hard.

Trade Journals; Eyecare business, 20/20, Opticourier, Optometric Management

Vision Expo; I try to go once a year

CT Opticians Association; several meetings a year and newsletters

Colleagues; I keep in touch with other opticians, etc..

Sales Reps; Lens and frame reps seem to have a decent pulse on the industry

These have worked for me. I would like to see some more replies from others to see what other ways to keep informed.

So far all the suggestions I have seen on above postings are giving old news, you can only get the fresh stuff in the internet where it is all posted before those others haveit or were they take it from.
