Where do you get your news ?

Just wondering where you get your news ... TV, Online, Magazines whatever ... I don't have cable TV so my choices are limited.

I do listen to a lot of NPR on the radio.

I like the MSNBC cable TV channel and website. At 5:00 PM (PST) they air Countdown, an hour long news update with Keith Olbermann, a former sports commentator who has brought a fresh and innovative style to the role of news anchor. At 3:00 AM (PST) they offer the TV version of the Don Imus radio show, where you get some news along with some distinctly "R-rated" and often (although not always) humorous commentary by Don Imus, and his equally ribald sidekick Bernard McGuirk.

Every few days or so I also check in on another Internet forum, for news stories that are culled mostly from the mainstream media, but with a more scientific and artistic eye towards news selection. You can find a link to this site in the caption under the photograph ...

Okay, Rinselberg. That was just cruel. I've been a cryptozoology buff for a long time. You tease me with a photo of a "living" giant squid, and supply me with a link to an article that doesn't exist! That's just plain mean. lol

    Hey Fink,

I'm truly sorry about the article not being visible anymore.

The site was "hacked" a few weeks ago and all of the posts were wiped out because the database wasn't being backed up.

I can probably find the original MSNBC article and if I do, I will post it here.

    Rinselberg,

I would GREATLY appreciate that, if it wouldn't be too much trouble.

Here you are, Fink. Two page article. Video on the first page if you can play it (I can't, but I make do with an old out of date Mac.) Page two has the same photograph as above. It's been my pleasure!
