Where has Ellen Tracy Gone?

Does anyone out there know where or if the Ellen Tracy line has been picked up? We used to order it through Viva Int'l years ago and then stopped carrying the line, but we were always able to call and order parts for our patient's frames. Well now Viva stopped carrying that line and wont tell us if anyone else has picked it up or if it's just gone for good! What does that say about Viva that they didnt even send a letter out letting us know about this beforehand, leaving us holding the bag... Did anyone else get notice of this when it happened?

I have not heard anything. I bet that Ellen Tracy just did not renew its licence and has moved on.

i saw a lot of Ellen Tracy frames in one of my clients' shop. he's quite excited about the deal and showed me a whole box of frames mixed with all kind of brands, Ellen Tracy is also there. he's certainly using this to bargain with me, and i have no idea where he got these frames from, maybe from charity? only $1 each for all his "brand name"...... :shiner:

Personally, the ET brand has never impressed me with either quality and/or style. I had the line for a while a few years back and was happy to get rid of it. The rimless designs were a liability as they often broke before even making it off the bench. ET has probably done her image a favor by not renewing the license with Viva (aka Davis Vision.)
