    Book recommendations...

When you travel a lot, you burn through a LOT of books! Recently, I started through the combination efforts of Lincoln Childs & Douglas Preston... Excellent stuff- Agent Pendergast is a character one can really get into, and I have yet to be disappointed by these authors.

On the business reading side, The Paradox of Choice- why more is less is simply one of the most interesting books I've ever read on the subject of retailing. Even if you don't give a thought to retailing, this is an entertaining and thought-provoking book! Excellent reading!

Anyone else out there reading anything interesting lately?

The March by E.L. Doctorow, excellent as is everything he does. My husband bought me a copy of Maureen Dowd's book Are Men Necessary? Love her writing so hope to enjoy this.

If you love to laugh and revel in the absurd, pick up a copy of "The Areas of My Expertise" by Hodgman (or Hodgeman). Laugh til your stomach aches funny. It's a bizarre collection of "trivia", hard to explain, but run, don't walk, to pick up a copy of this wonderful book. Great gift for anyone in your life with a good sense of humor.

    Cool Web Site

You guys have to check this site out: http://www.bookcrossing.com/

It’s a way to share books. The main page offers info on what this is all about, and then from the left side of the main page, you can click other links such as “go hunting” to find a book that has been “released into the wild” near you!

Did you know that some American soldiers were worked to death in Nazi concentration camps? Contrary to the beliefs of many, European Jews were not the only ones to die in this hell. Soldiers and Slaves by Roger Cohen is an awesome book about World War II and the concentration camp in Berga. You must read this book!
