Does anyone know of a progressive lens available in CR-39 Transitions with an add of +4.00?

    Thanks

From memory, as I'm at home now, Hoya Summit certainly has an add of +4.00 in CR39 but you'll have to check for Transitions

Why in heaven do you want a progressive in that power ?..................to mount it in a small frame ?

Whoever is going to wear such lenses will need a compass or a GPS to be able to find corridor and reading area

HOYA Summit ECP does not come in a 4.00 add in 1.50 Transitions (which, by the way, is not CR39--it is CR630).

believe it or not, some patients start with a progressive at say a +1.25 add, and continue with a progressive untill they need a +4.00 add, each new Rx was a gradual adaption and they are fine with it. Contary to popular (dis)belief in some quarters, most patients actually like progressives, and find them to be a useful comprimise. Your prefered option - Bifocals or trifocals are just another comprimise, with another set of disadvantages.

Both design philosophies are a comprimise, both have thier own place, and neither are exclusivley right

I can't find anything in Transitions +4.00. Plenty of +3.50's.
