Well, how bout it? Can the Colts go undefeated this year? If not, how many losses are we thinking here?
19-0... they're simply unstoppable
18-1... they'll win the Superbowl, but someone'll beat 'em along the way
17-2... Superbowl winners, but two teams ding em
16-3... they make the Superbowl, but lose to the NFC
9-7... they lose every game starting with Cincy this week

The Colts go all the way, nobody even gets close.
...Just ask me...
If it turns out cold and snowing in Cincy this Sunday the Colts will go down by 3. It will be a great match up(at least I hope so) between the QB's.

WHO CARES?
Let's face it,to win a Super Bowl takes talent and luck.Colts have an abundance of both. But just one bad bounce of that fickle football and its season over. Sometimes football,as in playing cards , its better to be lucky than good. The cards have been dealt,thirty-five years of waiting, the Colts regain the Lombardi Trophy without a glimpse of Lady Luck.
Think this is their year, though back to back Bengals/Steelers could be tough. If I were Tony, I would secretly be hoping they lose a game along the way, kill all that hype and concentrate on getting thru the playoffs and winning the big one.
Free advice (and you know, you get what you pay for...;) ) to Pete: keep telling yourself they may not win it all, hate to have your many friends at OB talk you off the ledge if the unthinkable happens!!!
Since I am one of the few people who don't Peyton Manning(it's a gator thing:p ), I hope they sink from here out. Now if the had someone I'd have to change my vote.christina

WHO CARES?
Short answer- I care (and I'm serious enough for my own liking, thank you very much 8^). What, are we supposed to forego all hobbies, interests, and enthusiasms and ponder the "events of the world" 24/7?

Nothing I would enjoy more than seeing Tony Dungy win his second Superbowl!

I think the Colts are the best team in Football! But the best team does not always win!
If the Pats take it again this year that will prove my point!
Vs Steelers:
WOW!

Amen, Pete! Being a born and raised Bal'morean I hope they kick butt and take names. After all the Ravens are the Colts' replacement.Originally Posted by Pete Hanlin

People, people, people, all this talk about the Colts is a moot point. The Colts will lose 2 games this year...both to the unthinkable Seahawks. One during the regular season and then during the big dance. I mean really...who misses 3 field goal attempts really. Talk about luck being on your side.

The Seattle Seahawks are the only team I'm really worried about looking down the road (well, I'll confess- L.T. has me a bit concerned as well- we'll see if Simon lives up to his rep as a run-stopper).
Still, after watching Monday's game with my terrible towel twirling Steeler-fan brother (a true fan, he actually insisted the Steelers could have "easily won" that game after watching what seemed to me to be a fairly sound beating on both sides of the ball), I'm thinking the Colts just may make it 19 straight.
I'm now in the process of securing AFC Championship game tickets...
As for the NCAA- Go Bruins, or go Colorado! PSU deserves a shot!!!!

From what I heard on Terry Bowden's radio show last night was that Tony Dungy has already committed and has ownership backing to rest the starters in the final two games. The big question is if Mannings and I believe Harrison's consecutive starts streak will come in question. The thinking is both will start and play a series or two.
Mike Golic of Mike and Mike on ESPN's morning show said the Colts will treat late December as a exhibition type of games.
To me, the bad thing of turning down intensity is you open yourself to injuries.
As far as going undefeated, if the Colts were still in Baltimore I would be all for it but since they still have the same dirt bag owners that moved them, I have to wish them nothing but anguish. Those dogs were threatening Indy with a move to LA if they did not get commitment to a new stadium.
I hope they do well but lose in the first round of the playoffs...in the last seconds of the game.
Sorry Pete.

Well there are a lot of people here in Indiana upset with the Colts. Lets just say if they weren't having the wonderful season they are having, many would be lynching Mayor Peterson right now...
When folding to the scare tatics of we're going to pull out unless you build us a new stadium (when the current one doesn't sell out) comes before reaching a contract agreement with our public service personell.. When an increase in taxes can be levied to keep the Colts here, but we have to lay off and force officers into early retirement because we can't afford to pay them a living wage. It really gets to the city's residents.

As a Browns fan I feel the original Colts fan pain....as for therapy well self administered, mine involves hoping Modell, Irsay, Davis, Adams and Fronterie burn in hell forever...but mainly Modell... What a slug liar.

Not to jinx the Colts, but Night Train & I just purchased the tickets and airline reservations for the AFC Championship Game in Indianapolis. Just a guess here, but I think we'll be hosting a rematch of the Bengal game.
Meanwhile, the Defense came through big- helping me extend my fantasy football winning streak. Its a good thing I've got that D, which scored 17 fantasy points this week- after all, Tom Brady (my hapless QB) hasn't thrown a TD in 2 games now (but he has thrown 4 INTS)...
Next up, Jacksonville...
PS- I have to believe Manning, James, Harrison, and the D are going to have a little chat with their honorable and terrific (but seriously on crack if he wants to mail in the final two games) coach Dungy about sitting on the bench.

Pete,
The Colts are the best team in Football! NO ? about it!
They need to lose a game so other teams think they can beat them and so the Colts think they can be beat!
I hope they make it!
P.S. The Pats don't deserve to win this year but I still hope they do!
Hawks trounce Eagles 42-0 on MNF! When do we play you Pete? It is in a week or two right?

As an Eagles fan, I'd like to say that beating the Eagles 42-0 doesn't necessarily mean that a team is great.Originally Posted by Lee Prewitt
