Got about 1/2 inch of snow today in Eastern Ma.
The trees still have about 75% of their leaves so the trees are hanging real low!

Nothing up here in NW ON yet. Which is a surprise.
I know the feeling. Gosh, I just had to shut the window because it was getting chilly. Well, one of the windows.
Life's rough out here on the coast.
Nothing in Wisconsin....yet. It's suppose to start raining sometime today and maybe if it gets cold again......
Spartus, do you need a lab tech thats tired of the cold and snow??
PA beat you the other day. There was still several inches of plowable snow on the central mountains today on my way back from Erie, PA.
Woke up this morning and the snow was melting off my roof. By the afternoon I was raking leaves in my shorts! GO Figure!
We got just short of an inch on the Cape. Golf had a snow delay today until 10 and I couldn't wait because I had a course at 1.Hit 60 here this PM. Where is the justice?

We flew in to Logan at 5:30 last night. We were just under an hour holding on the taxiway as they were deicing departing aircraft at their gates. Three days previous we were cross country skiing in the Cascades. I guess it’s finally here. I think Killington opens next weekend.
Perhaps you noticed all the hurricane activity this year? And we're gonna complain about a little snow? Bring it on!!!
79 F, and forecast for 83!!!:D Beach party anyone?Originally Posted by chm2023

Come on Jacqui! Where you live, it gets warm for well over a week, every single year. Stop your whining, or I'll set up a lab in Siberia and make you an offer you can't refuse.:pOriginally Posted by Jacqui

:) Come on over, always room for one more! There are no independant labs on this island, everything is done on Oahu!! I know of 2 businesses where they do some of their own work in the back of the shop, but they are the exception. Our Yellow Pages for Maui lists only 10 Optical shops, and that includes Sears and Lenscrafters!! Of course, then there are Walmart, Costco, and the HMO I work for...... (and our lab is on Oahu) Costco's lab is on the west coast somewhere, and the lab for Sears is on Oahu too....Originally Posted by Jacqui
The population for this island is about 127,000 so guess not enough of a base for an independant lab? But hey, who needs to work, live on fish, seaweed, and coconuts, right! Actually, you'd be surprised how many homeless there are here, living on the beach, or back in the wooded areas. The visitors don't normally get to see that........
Be nice Spexie, I'm trying to move The Worlds Smallest Evil Empire to Pakistan and I need dispensers (and you just volunteered). :bbg:Originally Posted by Spexvet

Still too darn hot and humid in South Texas, I'm praying for some cold weather and snow. We had about a week where we didn't have to run the A/C and we're right back to turning that money gussler (spelling???) back on. Anyone in the snow land hiring an optician :-)
The PM got lost! Or were you sending over the Prime Minister? I'll give Mr. Blair a cuppa if he comes!!:)Originally Posted by Jacqui

Things up here are great--oddly so. Temperatures have been mostly in the 60's and lots of sun. My garden is still (partially) in bloom. Got out all my winter clothes too.....this can't be right.
Just got hit with some snow. Time to head to Florida.
