    Confused Tinting Machines

I need to know which tinting machine is more widely used in the lab industry. We supply the one that uses the HTF (heat transfer fluid) but I understand there are ones out there that use only water. Can some one help me determine which is a better selling machine?
    thanks

Ours uses water. I like the HTF tinting machines better. The water tends to evaporate and needs to be refilled. This cools off the tints and takes longer.

    Redhot Jumper Water versus HTF.....................

The difference between water and HTF is that the water is less expensive and will start evaporating when near boiling point................and by doing that it give you a controlled heat of the dyes that will never make them go over boiling point. Conventional dyes (1960 technology) disentegrate fast when close or at boiling point.

But, it needs surveillance and periodic replacement or addition which is too much asked in today's busy world.

HTF is much better, producing better control over tint temperature, but it does need to be changed regularlary, or it stinks awfully
