    Question

I've recently been introduced to a home business called "Renaissance - the tax people". It concerns tax exemptions that the ordinary "Joe" is allowed.

Anyone out there familiar with this company?

    Is it safe?

Never heard of the program but what I "did" hear was that the IRS now has a SWAT team. So be careful.

Don, My dad has a friend who is a retired auditor for the IRS. I can have him check it out if you want me to. Believe me he is a good one to have on your side. I sure as **** wouldn't want to get on his bad side. I did some work for him one time. Mind you this guy is originally from the Bronx, so the entire day he would wisecrack on me then I would say something back to him. He kept telling me all day he was going to have me audited!LOL!! It was actually a fun day believe it or not. Just let me know I can find out.
    Have a good day,
    Steph

    Stephanie,

Thank you, I would truly appreciate that. I am apprehensive in joining this "Renaissance" group. I am having a tough time getting any information on this company's track record. Any light you can shed on this matter is always welcome and appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again.

Don, I will e-mail him as soon as I am done today on the optiboard. He usually is pretty good about getting right back to me. Hopefully I'll have an answer for you by tomorrow. He lives right around the corner from me, but since he is always on the computer I always e-mail him instead. Usually a good rule of thumb however if it looks to good to be true it probably is. It is worth a shot to check it out you never know.
    Talk to you soon!

Don, I just found out today that my dad's friend went on a cruise. Ha! Must be nice. Anyway, I will have some info for you as soon as he gets back in a few days. Sorry I had no idea until I was discussing him with my mom today and she told me. I just didn't want you to think I forgot about you.

Hi Stephanie - no problem!! I am just glad that someone is able to at help me out. I've tried the Better Business Bureau but they have no information about "Renaissance" company. I don't know if that's good or bad. Anyway, I am grateful to you and your friend for any information about this.
