Confused anybody know where to get med_i_cal frames

I really need to help the doctors I work with they are really over doing it on
spending when it comes to frame buying. I think the frames that they are using
from kenmark can be replaced with something a little less expensive for the
    med-i-cal insurance.any suggestions out there?

www.encore-vision.com. We supply thousands of Medicaid program frames per month and all are listed in the Frames Data. Give Teri a call @1-866-779-5770 for specifics. Thanks

P.S. Before anyone says anything, I am aware that this is the "general discussion" forum. :)

I have been using Coast Frames for many years with very low breakage & repair rate. Great prices as well !!!!!

Our Medi-Cal patients love them and feel they are quite "designer" compared to what they are use to getting.

thank you I agree with you. I do know that there are many low cost frames that are
of good quality. I just didn't know where to look.

    Check your lab..

Our lab offers us some package deals for frames and lenses. The frames may have a listed wholesale of 50-70% higher than what we get them for if we order complete through them.

They have packages for kids and adults.. and the quality is very good. Heck in the kids pricing we can even get Nickelodeon, B.U.M., etc.

Cassandra, are you talking about checking with the Medi-Cal Lab or just a lab in general?

New York Eye/ Hart Specialties. I have used the Via Roma line and have been very happy with the value (cost vs. quality).

I have had several frames with defects but they have a really good warranty. I buy them 10 at a time at an excellent price. I have used many low priced frames and these have worked out the best so far. Caution; they last about one year so don't sell them to folks that want them to last 3-4 years!

Hopefully the lab that processes your Medi-Cal lenses will have a similar plan, or you can find one in your area that does.

No frame & lens plans here..We have to send our Medi-Cal jobs to the local prision in our area. The inmates (when they are not in lock down) create the lenses. You should see some of the stuff we get at times..lol
