    Proceeds of crime

This morning a man walked in asking for a pair of glasses. Pretty routine, except that he was in handcuffs and leg shackles and wearing an orange jumpsuit. The guards explained that he was on his way to jail and his glasses accidentally broke while he was in custody! Good ol' legal system!

It is hard to sign up for subsidised National Health dentistry in the UK, but my local dentist's seem to do a roaring trade treating inmates of the local prison for free. Not sure what happens for optical care. Domicilliary visits to the prison?
