Thsi theme is really evolving into the high echelon................from women opticians that are chosen and perform according to their astrological sign to female president of the US. Please only vote for her if her horoscope fits the job.[/QUOTE]

I think women and men are equal but different. Why would a feminist say "Down with feminism?"

Jason.............If I remember right........from an earlier post, your optical store is specialised in ladies optical fashion and directed towards a womens clientel.

How about enlarging above quote and hang it up in your shop window and wait for any reaction by potential customers.

This is called "negative sales tactics.................................

When in retail I used an offending one that actually worked as a fantastic sales argument:

A good looking women used to say............" and how do you think this frame fits my face ?"

Asnwer was " looks good because you have a garbage face" you can imagine the reaction..............then comes the punch line " dont get upset madame...........what I was saying, is that any garbage frame would look good on you,............... you have an ideal face for spectacle frames".

    Usually you were forgiven instantly

Maybe the American people would be better off if they chose their next President by when they were born instead of the Electoral College. Bush was not the choice of the people in his first term. Gore should have been elected. We would not be in Iraq! The USA would still have a balanced budget etc.etc.

Hurricaines are prone to be dangerous, unpredictable, and inclined to do what they want. Some people early in our history felt these were female characteristics. I think there may have been one or two other things listed when I first heard this which would be equally offensive to feminists. For the offensive part some feminists protested and the weather people succombed and started naming half of the hurricaines for men.

At the moment there is at least one congress person that is "offended" that no ethinc (yes, I know we have some Spanish Ethnic names for hurricaines) and wants some Shakias and Shonas and such added to the list.

Well the biggest was "Andrew" in '92.

I figure they're saving "George" for the Really Big One, named after the current disaster of a president of course.

I hope you dont talk to your female opticians like that when you give them orders or advice.

Women in business want to be treated like equals, so don't apologize before you use the wip.

I have always found that when working with females it is always helpful to point your finger at them and snap. I don't know why but it always seems to get their attention. It works with my wife also:D

May 17th......Chris is Taurus the Bull. The typical Taurean prefers to move deliberately and speak sparingly. They seldon worry, fret, or chews his nails. He is quiet, practical, down to earth, and sensible.

He is slow to move to action but is deliberate and careful!

And so forth.... If you want more about this date I will give you more later....

If you did that to the opticians here, you would probably get a tongue lashing you wouldn't soon forget.

    P.S. We're all Leo's.

    My Fine Marine

I think (hope) sexist comments that have been made from the male gender have been all in good fun.
I will be glad to set any of my male brother strait via PM who do think less of women vs men.

The funny thing is, I actually think some poster on this thread are actually being serious?

We should all put little more love in our hearts!!!

I have three prerequisites when hiring: conscientiousness, an add power of at least +1.75, and the ability to do good work when hungover.
