    Question need advice

    Hi Everyone,
I've been living in the US for a year. I had been an optician in Europe before I moved here.
My question is : what do I have to do to be able to work as an optician in Colorado? Do I have to go to school or take any kind of exam?
If anyone knows the answer please let me know.
    Thanks a lot!
    -M.

The Colorado Revised Statutes are available on line at http://198.187.128.12/colorado/lpext.dll?f=templates&fn=fs-main.htm&2.0. You can locate a statute of interest by searching either on the citation given in the database (e.g., 18-5-307) or on a keyword or phrase.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that Colorado won something called "Title Protection" several years ago. While I'm not sure of the process, it may require that anyone calling themselves an Optician must register with the State of Colorado.
