    New Canadian 1.74

    Essilor has released its 1.74 in Panamic and Single Vision.

    For the Panamic the parameters are +8.00 to max -20.00, and a -4.00 cyl with a -20.00 max combo.

    Single vision it is +10.00 to -18.00, and a -4.00 cyl, max combo -18.00.

    Stock -4.00 to -10.00, and a -2.00 cyl.



    Finally real parameters. The stock lens parameters suck, but no 15D limits from Nikon.

    Is this strickly for Can Knee Dah? or can we get this in the US as well?

    Have no idea. Canada has had the 1.74 for a few years, but has been a Nikon exclusive (surfaced).

    America's main problem is legislation.

    what is the Abbe Value of this lens?

    Around the low 30's (30, 31)...
