    Stickers for Oliphobic coatings

So like Hoya and Nikon are always forgetting to send the stickers for their slick coated lenses.

So I call Hoya to talk to them about the Hoya stuff and tell them they might as well just send me 20 stickers. They do and bill me. So I phone them back and they credit me. But if it is so important to use these stickers why is it that they like never send them anymore?

I want to try the hair spray idea, but I am afraid that it might harm the coating.

Dont be so cheap......do some R&D and use your hairspray......if it harms the lenses, you know better next time, and pay for their stickers.....if it works make a claim for R&D expense on your next tax returns.

If they sent me the stickers when I ordered the lenses I would not have to have them send me more. Otherwise I would pay for them.

As for the R&D I would much rather have you do it for me ;) since we all know who sells the Alize caplets and the Nikon ICE dip oliphobic coating

Our *ahem* Scotchguard *ahem* lenses come with the stickers on them. We just discard them. A couple of months ago we were having problems with lenses twisting in our spartan edgers. We thought it was due to the coating. It is due to the nature of how spartans are configured. Axis can fall out of sync from right lens to left lens and vary by material.
